‘Tis the season for luvin’! And when this time of year comes, UP Fair 2009 is the event to beat!!! Music. Shops. Mosh pit. Whatever! You can bring your friends along and enjoy yourselves at the Sunken Garden at the University of the Philippines, Diliman!

Here’s the 2009 UP Fair Schedule!

U.P. Diliman University Student Council presents The U.P. Fair, the week-long event held at the Sunken Garden… featuring concerts, shows, fair booths, bazaars and other gimmicks.

February 9 - EUFAIRIA by Delta Pi Omicron
Sorority and Indios Bravos Multimedia presents Rico Blanco with performances by Slapshock, Queso, Intolerant, Razorback, Typecast, Markus Highway, Hilera, Reklamo, Franco, Stonefree, Chubibo, Brigada, Badburn, Dissent, Sin, Manila Bus, Peligro, Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man, Meat Balls, Falling at Zero Degrees, and many more.

February 10 - ROCKULTURA by the UP Engineers and Men for College and Country Fraternity (EMC2) features Pupil, Urbandub, Sandwich, Chicosci, Queso, 6cyclemind, Itchyworms, The Wudz, Imago, Callalily, Mayonnaise, Soapdish, Silent Sanctuary, Greyhoundz, Cambio, Pedicab, Markus Highway, Datu’s Tribe, Zelle, Join the Club, Peryodiko, Kelevra, The Ambassadors, Archipelago, Nicty Nasty, Paraluman, South Superhighway, and so much more!

February 11 - AMPLIFIED by Alpha Sigma Fraternity with performances by Queso, Parokya Ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Urbandub, Chicosci, Typecast, Moonstar 88, Out Of Body Special, Blue Boy Bites Back, The Ambassadors, The Youth, Nyctinasty, Franco, Salamin, Hansom

February 12 - RAMBOL by UP Brotherhood of the Filipinos 1955 (or aka Pinoy ‘55) invites you to experience Rock Against Violence featuring Sponge Cola, Pupil, Green Department, and many more.

February 13 - LOVERAGE by UP Pan Xenia Fraternity and UP Adelfe Enu Crea Sorority in cooperation with UP Circuit and UP Cursor want to break the curse with a pre-Valentine and Valentine celebration designed to bring together Iskolars ng Bayan and guests in a call to undo and defy superstitious bad luck associated with Friday the 13th through a night of love and love for music with the youth. It also aims to celebrate the varied and distinct musicianship shared and unleashed by our Filipino bands and artists in the realm of original Filipino music. As the night wears on, the organizers envision a Valentines Day welcome countdown, prompting a special fireworks display at exactly 12:00 midnight to delight the spectators.
