Medical Mission of Thunderbird Resort Poro Point La Union at Brgy. San Agustin

As part of TREES, we continue to uphold our commitment to help communities. Under this program, we successfully organized and hosted our first Medical Mission in La Union last March 2010.

For the second quarter of this year, another Medical Mission was held at Brgy. San Agustin last June 28. Thunderbird Resorts employees, and with the support of the local government and doctors, attended to general medical check-ups and prescriptions, as well as free medicine/vitamins distribution.

Residents that composed mostly of mothers with their children and senior citizens lined–up for the medical mission. Employees and barangay officials eagerly assisted the patients.
A long and tiring, but definitely a fulfilling day for everyone.

Look who’s afraid of the doctor.
The kid cries fearing the sight of the medical tools.

Enduring the heat and crowd, the volunteers take a small break

There’s unity in diversity. Infants, toddlers, teens, adults, and
senior citizens alike cooperate and patiently hang onto their seats.

Innocence in the eyes of a child.
